The Hoglund Foundation is proud to sponsor the Perot Museum’s new three-year campaign, Expanding Our Impact, through funding the Maker Space in the Engineering and Innovation Hall.

The new space will feature rotating hands-on engineering challenges, allowing children and families to solve problems together, with dedicated staff to guide guests through each activity. The Expanding Our Impact campaign will support the Museum’s continued growth and excellence in deepening community impact in the North Texas region, and amplifying global Museum leadership. Maker Space in the Engineering and Innovation Hall will serve to inspire and educate new and returning guests, through activities such as music making in the MIDI sound lab or building robots to perform real-life tasks and competitions. Guests can also experience program movements in the 3D animation lab, learn how to enhance building designs, and gain first-hand experience with architectural, electrical, software and mechanical engineering—all in one unique space.

An extraordinary resource and catalyst for science learning through innovative, highly accessible experiences that broaden understanding of our world and improve community achievement, Hoglund is proud to sponsor the Perot Museum’s vision, as well as its mission to inspire minds through nature and science. Expanding Our Impact will serve to broaden the minds of Museum visitors in the coming years, and expand innovation through engineering in the North Texas region which it serves.
